3rd call in the AGROECOLOGY Partnership
Fostering plant and animal genetic diversity and empowering farmers to accelerate the agroecological transition
This call focuses on two key pillars of the agroecological transition : the genetic and social dimension. The first topic addresses genetic diversity and variability in crops and livestock, with the aim of laying the foundations for increasing the availability of species, varieties, and breeds that will support the development of agroecological farming systems.
The second topic addresses the social challenges of the agroecological transition, with a particular focus on farmers' motivation, skills, and knowledge and the role of stakeholders in encouraging their engagement.
A webinar where you can ask questions will be held 10 December from 10 – 13 CET. Details about registration will be published when the call for proposals opens.
